The two canvas backdrops, a soft pale blue and a warmer ochre, give a subtle change of mood between the images without ever pulling focus from Charlie's face and expression. That kind of variety is useful for casting, letting an actor show a slightly different tone across a small set of shots.

We kept the session relaxed and reviewed everything live on the monitor, so Charlie could see the images building and leave confident in the results. The final headshots were delivered ready for Spotlight, agents and casting submissions.
