Frequently Asked Questions
Which package should I start with?+
If you are new to modelling, the Essentials or Essentials Plus packages are the best starting points. They give you enough time to settle into the shoot and come away with a solid set of images. If you are already confident in front of the camera and want more variety, the Pro or Luxe packages offer greater creative range.
Do I need professional hair and makeup?+
For portfolio shoots, it is worth arriving with your hair and makeup done to a standard you are happy with. I do not provide a makeup artist or hair stylist, but you are welcome to bring your own. There is time built into the Pro and Luxe packages for this. For all other packages, please arrange preparation before you arrive.
What should I bring to my shoot?+
Bring as many outfit options as your package allows for. Neutral colours and well-fitted clothing generally work best. Avoid heavy patterns, logos, and anything overly trend-led. The more options you bring, the more flexibility we have on the day.
Are the images retouched?+
All edited images in the portfolio packages include Standard Retouch. Polaroids and digitals are intentionally unretouched, as agencies require images that show your natural appearance. A Beauty Retouch upgrade is available as an add-on for images where more detailed skin work is needed.
Can I get the unedited images?+
Unedited images are not provided for portfolio shoots. A carefully edited selection is far more valuable to your career than a large gallery of unfinished files. The proof gallery gives you a wide range to choose from before editing takes place.
Where is the studio?+
Sessions take place at my photography studio in Herne Hill, South East London, Zone 2. It is easily accessible from central London by rail and bus.
Can I book a weekend session?+
Yes, weekend sessions are available with a surcharge. Please get in touch to arrange a weekend booking.
