Company Headshots in detail

Before your Company Headshots Photoshoot

A £50 deposit, up to ten staff, or 10% deposit for more than ten is required to confirm the shoot. In most cases this is refundable up to 72 hour prior to the shoot. Exceptions are when equipment is hired/purchased to meet specific requirements of the shoot, if a car is hired/accommodation booked when the job is outside of London, or if multiple photographers are booked. In all cases, if the shoot is cancelled or rescheduled within 72 hours, the deposit is non-refundable.

Once the deposit has been received and the date/time of your photoshoot confirmed, a timing schedule template can be provided if required. This can be filled out for the staff, with their name and allocated time slot. For smooth running of the photoshoot and to ensure a good range of shots, I find it is best to allow between five to ten minutes per staff member with 2-5 minute gap between each.

Please also provide an on site contact who will be there on the day/s of the shoot and that is available to liaise with throughout the day/s. If you would like me to bring an assistant who can coordinate the staff, please let me know when booking.

An assistant can be provided for an additional £200 per day.

Travel

In most instances when travelling to your offices a taxi is required as the equipment is bulky and weighs around 85kg. An assistant may also be required if a more advanced lighting setup is required. This would be included in the quote.

Equipment

Professional equipment is used and spares of all essential equipment such as camera, lens’ and lights are brought to your offices to ensure a smooth shoot without any delays due to hardware failures.

Alongside this, backups of the images are made to ensure no data loss

Space for the shoot

An ideal space for your company headshots to take place is a private room approximately 5 metres long by 4 metres wide and a ceiling height of no less than 2.5 metres, Furniture should also be removable. This allows for the lighting equipment to be set up for optimum results.

Once at your offices

After arriving at your offices equipment setup time is approximately 45 minutes.

Once the equipment is set up it is useful to have a staff member available for a few test shots to check the light positions and settings.

A staff member who can confirm that the shoot style is to your requirements should also be available. Once the shoot commences, images cannot be rejected.

After the photoshoot

Balance payment is due on the day of completion. No images are provided until payment is received in full.

After the shoot, an online gallery will be provided from which you can select the images for editing. The online gallery is password protected and will include a selection of approximately 9 proof images per staff member. I endeavour to have this shared with you within 36 hours of the final shoot day. This is a guide and can vary depending on the number of staff.

Once you have chosen the images you would like edited, they will be completed and uploaded to dropbox within the number of business days specified in your quote and/or invoice.
